Raja Annamalaipuram is a quiet residential neighborhood in the south central part of the city of Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, India. R.A.Puram in short, is known for its tree-lined avenues. Paradoxically it has a very busy C.P.Ramaswamy Road running through it. This is one the arterial roads of Chennai and is turning into a commercial nerve centre.
R.A.Puram is flanked by Mandaveli and Alwarpet on one side and the Adyar River on the other. It also has proximity to the seventh-century Kapaleeshwar temple, the San Thome Basilica, the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple, Ramakrishna Mutt, the Madras Boat Club, and, the Theosophical society and Fortis Malar hospital across Adyar River.
A notable landmark is the Billroth Hospital, situated on the C.P.Ramaswamy road. Utsava is situated on the parallel road behind this popular hospital in the heart of R.A.Puram. It is also situated Behind Axis Bank and is next to Arthi Beauty Salon.
